Vice President, Yacht Service
Jimmy Floyd is Vice President, Yacht Service at Bradford Marine. He grew up in the foothills of northwest Georgia in a small town called Trion. Jimmy left his home state of Georgia in 1976 for Fort Lauderdale where he started his first job in the marine industry as the Dockmaster at Bradford Marine, a position he held for two years.
In 1978, he moved to Blue Ridge, Georgia and started a four year land surveying career while studying Civil Engineering. In 1981, he moved back to Fort Lauderdale returned to the yachting industry as he became partner in a family business, Smallwood’s until 2009. Upon leaving Smallwood’s, he returned to Bradford Marine. He know handles sales for the shipyard in Fort Lauderdale as well as Freeport Bahamas.
